After the pharmaceutical products are completed and packaged, the products are sent to a finished product quarantine area. Samples are drawn for both in-house and governmental testing. Products remain in the quarantine area until authorization from the testing officials is given for them to be removed from quarantine.

This quarantine state is, however, a necessary phase to give the quality control team and government testing facilities sufficient time to certify the pharmaceutical as being ready for market.

Once cleared of quarantine, the product is moved to a finished product storage area to await disbursement to the distribution network.
