Balkan Pharmaceuticals follows as strict a protocol in marketing its products as it follows in producing them. This is in part to comply with the requirements and limitations of the laws of the Republic of Moldova and in part to maintain the integrity of our company image and product reliability.

1. Balkan Pharmaceuticals does not market directly to the public. It was recently brought to our attention that fraudulent product offerings have been and are being made in our name by individuals in other Balkan nations. We are proud to be a manufacturer in good standing in the Republic of Moldova and display the license issued to us for all to see here . Under the provisions of this license we are not permitted to market our products directly to the public.


2. Balkan Pharmaceuticals does not market directly to pharmaceutical retailers. As a matter of industry standard, our products are shipped to and distributed only by authorized distribution concerns. Inquiries from pharmaceutical retailers will not be answered by us and orders from them will be disposed of as unfulfilled. Please inquire of your traditional pharmaceutical suppliers and place orders through them.


3. Balkan Pharmaceuticals does not market its products outside of Moldova at this time. We will start exporting only to Ukraine, country that accepted some of our drugs and proceeded with registration, but we are doing all efforts to register all medicines we produce. We are in the midst of getting several products certified by the Ukrainian government for marketing there, a process we anticipate to take another 3 to 6 months (summer or autumn of 2009). After obtaining this approval, we will be seeking certification in Russia and in the other CIS nations. Until such approval is obtained, anyone outside of Moldova claiming to be marketing Balkan Pharmaceutical products should be reported to your nation’s drug and law enforcement personnel.


4. All Balkan Pharmaceuticals products will bear a Unique Product Identification Code (UPIC) on each product package. This code may be verified via our website to ensure that products received are genuine. No two product packages will ever have identical numbers and any number submitted more than once to our website will be flagged as potentially pirated and should not to be used under any circumstances.
